Hawaiian Hot Ham and Cheese Sliders
The secret to making the most delicious baked sliders is the King’s Hawaiian rolls! They add a sweetness to every bite you don’t get anywhere else.
The sweet roll, paired with the savory ham and cheese, can’t be beaten!
Plus, this recipe is super easy to assemble. We love an easy recipe around here!
Obviously, you need to pick up a pack of King’s Hawaiian sliders at a grocery store near you. I’ve bought them at Costco, Lee’s, and Smith’s.

Other Flavor Combinations to Try
Although the ham & swiss combination is classic and timeless, that isn’t the only flavor you can make of these baked sliders!
I’ve also made a batch with turkey and provolone; the results were amazing! It tasted so yummy and was a fun twist on the traditional recipe.
Believe me when I say I’ve transformed these into breakfast sliders; the outcome was mind-blowing! The taste was so satisfying that it was hard to resist having just one.
However, don’t take my word for it! Try it yourself!
- I started by baking my eggs directly in the pan where I planned to bake the sliders. I whisked the eggs together, seasoned them with salt and pepper, and baked them in a greased 9×13 pan at 350 degrees until the eggs were cooked.
- Then, I removed the eggs from the pan into a single sheet and set them aside.
- I then layered the bottoms of the King’s Hawaiian rolls, sausage, cheese, cooked eggs, and the tops of the King’s Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish.
- I topped the rolls with homemade buttery sauce (recipe below) and baked them again for 30 minutes.
Let me tell ya, yum!! The breakfast variation is super yummy too.
Indeed, the full recipe and measurements are in the recipe card below.
