What You’ll Need to Make Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Orzo
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound cubed chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup orzo
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup broccoli, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 fresh lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

How To Prepare This Easy One-Skillet Dinner
- To a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Season the chicken with the seasonings, then place it in the pan to cook, stirring until all sides are golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- To the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and stir for 1 minute, then add the orzo. Toast the orzo for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden brown.
- Deglaze the pan with the chicken broth, and add in the broccoli and cooked chicken. Bring to a shallow boil.
- Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer. Allow the orzo to cook untouched for twenty minutes.
- When the time is up, remove the lid and stir in the cream cheese, fresh lemon juice, and parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
