Nutella lovers unite!! I am a huge Nutella fan and a chocolate chip cookie fan. So, I decided to combine the two! Thus, the Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies were born!! These cookies are unreal delicious! They are huge, chocolate chip loaded, and stuffed with Nutella! Everybody who tries these cookies, loves them! A match made in heaven! Make it with me!
The process of stuffing the cookies with Nutella is simpler than you might think. You simply line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Then, you place a drop of Nutella on the wax paper until you have enough to fill all of your cookies, and place in the freezer. It only takes about 20 minutes to get the Nutella to freeze. Once they are frozen, you can pick the drops up and roll them inside the prepared cookie dough! When baking, the Nutella will soften, and become a delicious gooey center!
In order to have enough dough to wrap around the Nutella balls, you have to use a lot of cookie dough! These cookies turn out GIANT! Which is awesome! The base recipe is a copy cat of the popular cookie delivery service, Chip Cookies. They are soft and chewy, with a crispy bottom. It’s the perfect cookie combination. I only recommend cooking 6 cookies at a time, because the dough balls are big and you want them to be able to spread without touching!
