What to do with Over Ripe bananas?
Do I have any banana bread fans out there? I love a good banana bread! I love it because it is so soft and yummy and everybody loves it! At my house, I almost always let my bananas get over-ripe, and then I have no choice other than to make this delicious bread! It’s like the bananas prefer to be in bread-form at my house. My family loves this recipe and I guarantee your family will too!
Why I always double this recipe
I almost always double this recipe for two reasons. One, I always have plenty of brown bananas to double the recipe and two, one loaf is never enough! It always goes way too fast! This recipe is one of those recipes that you will want to make over and over again. You will crave this sweet, yummy bread. Have a slice for breakfast, eat it as a snack, or as a dessert! However you like it, this recipe you will love!
Can I add nuts to this banana bread recipe?
I like my banana bread nut-less, but if you wanted to add a cup on chopped nuts, you are more than welcome to! I am not a fan of adding nuts into recipes. Weird I know because I love almost all foods but I do not like nuts in baking. I love nuts and I love baking but nuts and baking are not a combo deal for me!
