Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs
Yields: As many eggs as you’d like
1 cup water
6-8 eggs (or more)
2 cups ice
2 cups water
In the Instant Pot, place the wire rack that came with the pot in the bottom. You can also use the steam basket attachment if you have that.
Place 6-8 eggs in between the wires in the Instant Pot.
Fill the pot with 1 cup cold water.
Place the lid on, turn the valve to seal, and manually set the timer for 5 minutes. The Instant Pot will take roughly 5 minutes to reach pressure before it begins counting down.
When the 5 minutes is finished, let the Instant Pot manually release for an additional 5 minutes. In the mean time, prepare an ice bath with ice and water for the eggs when they are finished.
When the pressure has manually released, open the valve to the venting position to release any additional pressure before opening the lid.
Place the eggs directly into the ice bath to halt the cooking process. Let sit for 5 minutes until cooled, then peel and serve or store for later use!
