Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Rice Bowls
2 pounds pork roast
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1 cup teriyaki sauce (pick your favorite)
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cups mixed veggies (frozen)
1 cup broccoli
2 cups brown rice
Salt and Pepper
Prep pork roast with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Add onions. Cover pork roast with honey, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar. Let cook on high for 4 hours. Pork should be shreddable when finished. Always check meat with meat thermometer before removing from heat.
40 minutes before pork is finished, start the brown rice in rice cooker.
10 minutes before dinner, take fresh vegetables and steam them in the microwave for 5 minutes or until steamed.
Prep bowls by layering rice, pork, vegetables, and top with extra teriyaki sauce. Enjoy!
