Grandma’s Cheese Ball
My grandma is the best! Truly, she is! She is always cooking up something delicious in her kitchen, and she has hundreds of fabulous recipes saved from over the years. She’s the person I always go to for new flavor ideas or recipe inspiration! She used to be a school teacher, so she likes to read through my blog posts and recipes each time they go live, and be sure there are no typos or errors. I really do appreciate it too! You know I just love you, Grandma B!
This Cheese Ball recipe couldn’t be easier to throw together! It’s made with cream cheese, 1 small jar Kraft Old English Cheese Spread, a few tablespoons of Roquefort Cheese, with the option serve as a dip, or to roll it in walnuts, or any crushed nut. It’s delicious served with crackers, veggies, pretzels, or toast!

Charcuterie Board
Charcuterie Board’s are all the rage right now for all the right reasons!
Meats, cheeses, nuts, fruits, dips, and more — what’s not to love?
They are also super easy to make! Let me brake this down step by step for you!
HOW TO BUILD A BEAUTIFUL CHARCUTERIE BOARD
ANY BOARD WORKS!
Wooden Cutting Boards
Pizza Stones
Lazy Susans
Cookie Sheets
Whatever board you have lying around the house can be used for a Charcuterie Board!
CHEESE PLEASE!
Choose 3-4 types and a mix of soft and hard cheeses, all served at room temperature: Goat, Gruyere, Gorgonzola, Brie, Sharp Cheddar, White Cheddar, Havarti, Mozzarella Pearls!
Cheese Display Idea’s:
Cubed and piled up to add height and dimension
Cut into thin, square slices and fanned out along the edge of the board
Cut into thin, triangular slices and placed in a circle, with points facing in
MEET ME AT THE MEAT AISLE
Choose any meat, preferably pre-sliced: Salami, Prosciutto, Pepperoni, Smoked Salmon. Make it pretty! Fold round, thin slices of meat in half, then fold again. Roll up slices of prosciutto and stack them on top of each other.
ADD CONDIMENTS + DIPPING
You can have one or more different sauces, dips and spreads! My grandma’s cheese ball typically makes an appearance! Other good dips include Honey, Jam/Preserves, other cheese dips, hummus, salad dressings, etc….
BRING THE COLOR WITH FRESH FRUIT & VEGGIES
Try a mix of fresh fruits that are flavorful and abundant all year long, like Apples, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, and Grapes.
You can also add dried fruit for options such as crasins, rasins, mangos, or banana chips!
Cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, peppers! All those bright, colorful veggies add freshness and flavor to the board!
LET’S GET CRUNCHY
Nuts and crackers or crisps are easy additions that require no extra prep work! Choose a few to round out your board: Pistachios, Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, Cashews, Crackers, Pretzels, Pita Chips.
Use nuts to fill in any gaps in your board by stacking them in piles around other ingredients.
