Preparing the Dressing
This Creamy Bow Tie Pasta Salad recipe is intended to create a flavorful and very cream pasta salad. That is really what I love about it!
Pasta salad is such a classic dish and the secret to a great recipe is what is in the dressing.
My creamy dressing includes mayo & miracle whip, yes both!! Vinegar, dry mustard, and evaporated milk! Of course, we then add salt & pepper to taste!
You’ll notice that this dressing has a unique flavor and that the noodles are very well coated and creamy! YUM!

Make Ahead
You can definitely make this Creamy Bow Tie Pasta Salad recipe ahead of time and save it! In fact, a recipe like this does really well as it sits in the fridge.
The rest time really allows the flavors to incorporate and the pasta to absorb up the creamy sauce.
You can make this the day before serving and allow it to chill overnight in an airtight container in the fridge. You may need to add an additional 1/4 cup of mayo just before serving!
