How to Prepare the Shrimp
One of my favorite ways to cook shrimp is by using my air fryer! It’s simple and so quick to make delicious shrimp at home!
Season your shrimp with your desired seasonings, spray with olive oil, and cook them in the air fryer at 370 for 5-7 minutes.
You can use a thermometer to confirm your desired internal temperature or watch for the shrimp to turn pink.

How to Prepare the Pineapple Salsa
- 2 cups diced fresh pineapple
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped jalapeno
- One large lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- One teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chili lime seasoning
Combine a medium bowl of pineapple, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, and lime juice. Stir until well combined—season with salt, honey, and chili lime seasoning to taste. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Other Toppings and Taco Add-ons
I like to serve these shrimp tacos on a warm corn tortilla with pineapple salsa, cilantro lime dressing, fresh lime wedges, and avocado slices.
You can make your homemade cilantro lime dressing, or they sell it by the bottle at Costco.
Feel free to add any other toppings you love! Cotjia, pickled onions, jalapenos, and cabbage would be wonderful additions, too!

Ingredients
- 2 cups diced fresh pineapple
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped jalapeno
- 1 large lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon chili lime seasoning
For the Shrimp
- 1 pound, peeled deveined shrimp
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paptrika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Other Toppings
- Corn Tortillas
- Fresh Lime Wedges
- Cilantro Lime Dressing
- Avocado slices
Instructions
Prepare the Pineapple Salsa
- Combine a medium bowl of pineapple, cilantro, red onion, jalapeño, and lime juice. Stir until well combined—season with salt, honey, and chili lime seasoning to taste. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Make the Shrimp Tacos
- To make these tacos, add the shrimp, olive oil, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder to a large bowl and toss to combine.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370. Then, air fry the shrimp for 6-8 minutes.
- While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas. Prepare other desired toppings, such as pineapple salsa, fresh lime wedges, and cilantro lime dressing.
- Finally, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and assemble the tacos once the shrimp are done.
- Serve and enjoy!
