What Is Cherry Fluff Salad?
Cherry fluff salad is a type of no-bake summer dessert that’s a twist on the classic Ambrosia Salad that’s been around for generations in the United States. I like to serve it as a side salad, or as a dessert so really it’s a two in one.
It is a popular cool whip dessert that can be made for Mother’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, and Christmas. This salad is great for so many holidays and special occasions.
Because it’s a no-bake potluck dessert salad that’s served cold, it’s refreshing on a hot summer night.
A Lightened Up Cherry Fluff
This Cherry Fluff can be made the traditional way, with all the sugar and delicious ingredients! But, you can also make this recipe with lightened up ingredients such as lite cool whip, and fat free sweetened condensed milk.
This fruit salad is still plenty sweet, even with these healthier substitutes!
You can make it with lite or full fat! Whatever works for you and your family will work for me!

- 8 oz Lite Cool Whip
- 14 oz fat free sweetened condensed milk
- 21 oz cherry pie filling
- 20 oz crushed pineapple
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup shredded coconut unsweetened or sweetened

The perfectly sweet, pink Cherry Fluff Salad!
Ingredients
- 8 oz lite cool whip 1 container
- 14 oz can fat free sweetened condensed milk
- 21 oz can cherry pie filling
- 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup shredded coconut unsweetened or sweetened
Instructions
- Combine the cool whip, sweetened condensed milk, cherry pie filling, and crushed pineapple in a bowl.
- Next, fold in the mini marshmallows and shredded coconut.
- Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
