One of our family’s favorite dinners is Chicken Divan! It is so creamy and delicious! It is ready to eat in 30 minutes, making it much better! On a crazy day, it is nice to have a go-to recipe that you know will be delicious!
Chicken Divan Origin Story
A great family friend showed my family this recipe many years ago and we have loved and cherished it ever since! This was my best friend growing up most favorite dinner!
Every year for her birthday, she would ask her mom for Chicken Divan and Artichokes and every year I would spend her birthday dinner with her and that was what you could count on!
I love it and am so glad that they shared it with me! That’s the beauty of cooking, sharing recipes and memories!
Use Rotisserie Chicken
The best part of this recipe is if you make it with the prepackaged Rotisserie Chicken from Costco, it really helps to save time!
You can throw together the sauce, coat the chicken in it, and put it in a casserole dish to bake! Simple and satisfying!
We serve ours over rice or orzo pasta.

- 4 cups cooked chicken
- 2 cans cream chicken soup
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese

Chicken Divan
Chicken Divan is comfort food in a casserole dish!
Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken
- 2 cans cream chicken soup
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, mayo, lemon juice, and curry powder.
- Spread the mix into a greased 9x13 baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy over rice or orzo pasta.
