You know those delicious nuts you can always smell the second you walk into a sporting arena? Those are Candied Pecans! They are nuts coated with a sugary, cinnamon glaze.
They are so addicting! Be careful not to eat the whole batch!!
Can you candy any nut?
This Candied Pecan recipe can be used on any nut! Almonds, peanuts, cashews, or pecans! But, I will say I think Pecans are my favorite! Almonds however are a close second!

My favorite salad to use these candied pecans in is either my Strawberry Poppyseed Salad or my Pear & Cinnamon Pecan Salad. This recipe is a must-try! Everyone who tastes it loves it!

Candied Pecan Recipe
The Best Candied Pecans! Crunchy, sweet, and totally delicious!!
Ingredients
- 1 pound pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large pan on the stove top over medium heat, add the nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Stir continuously until the sugar begins to melt. Once melted, continue stirring to coat the nuts.
- Place the candied nuts on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to cool and set.
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
