Easter Mini Cadbury Muddy Buddies
I’ll be honest, I never realized that the Cadbury eggs pictured here are considered the “mini” ones. Then, I had to google what the larger ones look like. I’ve grown up loving and enjoying the Mini Cadbury Eggs and I think they are delicious mixed in to this recipe!
I added Cadbury Eggs because one, I love them, and two, because they are Easter colored! You can make this recipe with any colorful candies that you like! The base is a chocolate, peanut butter flavor so keep that in mind when pairing a new candy flavor with this recipe! My family loves it and so will you!]
What You’ll Need
9 cups (1 box) Chex Cereal
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
1 package Cadbury Eggs
How to Make Easter Muddy Buddies
Pour the cereal out into a large bowl for mixing. In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter and melt on high in the microwave for one minute. Stir until smooth. Add in the vanilla and mix well. Pour chocolate sauce over chex cereal and gently toss until evenly coated. Add coated cereal and powdered sugar to a gallon sized ziplock bag. Shake until cereal is evenly coated. Dump onto a cookie sheet to allow the muddy buddies to cool completely.
