Homemade Vanilla Granola
There are so many ways to make granola and different flavor possibilities, but somedays I just love a good classic Vanilla!
It’s sweet, chewy, and has the perfect amount of bite.
Plus, a recipe like this only has a few ingredients! Most that you probably already have on hand!
What Do I Need to Make Granola?
Making granola at home is actually really quick and simple! Most recipes will call for the same basics, old fashioned oats, honey, cinnamon, and then the rest is up to the flavor you want!
For this recipe, you will need:
Old Fashioned Oats
Brown Sugar
Salt
Cinnamon
Coconut Oil
Honey
Vanilla Extract
That’s it! That is how simple this granola is to make at home! Try it and let me know what you think! I think you will be a fan!!
Do I Bake the Granola?
Yes! To make granola at home, you simply need to mix all your ingredients together, then bake it!
Low and slow is what works best! It helps to create a nice coating, and give the granola a little crunch without it becoming rock hard!
I bake mine at 300 degrees for 30 minutes and have found it works perfectly every time!
I always make sure to leave a few extra large pieces because I love that!
Control the Clusters!
The beauty of making granola at home is that you can control the bites of granola. I love large, chewy clusters with bite!
After the granola is baked and cooled, you can break it up however you like! I like a really chunky granola best, but I will leave that up to you!
