Ingredients
- Long Grain Rice
- Butter
- Fresh-squeezed Lemon Juice
- Chicken Broth
- Turmeric
- Salt
Why Add Tumeric?
Flavor-wise, it is a little earthy and peppery spice. That deep, kind of implacable flavor in most curry powders is Tumeric. But for this rice, paired with the lemon and butter, it makes it!
Tumeric isn’t the most common spice to have in your pantry, but for this recipe, it’s worth it to buy some!
The turmeric adds such a lovely flavor and color to this lemon rice! You will not want to skip out on it!
