If you have tried the Heavenly Hunks from Costco, you know how tasty they are! They are an oatmeal-based snack! I wanted to recreate this recipe into a version that could be made at home, and I love how they turned out! This heavenly hunk copycat recipe is crunchy, sweet, and a little chocolatey! They are perfect for dessert or even as an afternoon treat! I added protein to this recipe too for an extra boost! Make it with me!
Heavenly Hunks Costco
If you have shopped at Costco before, you’ve probably seen these treats as you are browsing the aisles.
I am a new breastfeeding mama, and I was told that these hunks are great for boosting your milk supply! I knew I wanted to give them a try.
After one taste, I thought to myself that I could make a version of these at home, just as easily! I love the homemade batch even more than the ones you can buy at Costco!
They come together in a matter of minutes, and they have a cookie dough flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Yum!

Can you substitute the cashew butter for anything else?? My son is allergic to all nuts as well as peanuts. If you don’t think it will taste the same with anything else I just won’t share them 😉.
Alex Daynes
You could try sunflower butter or tahini!

Is there a substitute for the protein powder?
Alex Daynes
Yes! You can do an additional 2/3 cup of rolled oats in place!
Sam
Can you use regular butter instead of the cashew butter?
Alex Daynes
I would use an almond butter or peanut butter instead of cashew butter for best results!
