Seriously, all you need to do is cook up the shrimp in a little olive oil on a frying pan on the stove, add the homemade honey garlic sauce, and serve over rice.
I love that in 15 minutes honey glazed shrimp dinner is done! I’d call that a dinner win!
What shrimp should I use for this Honey Garlic Shrimp?
For this honey glazed shrimp recipe, you can use fresh or frozen shrimp! Either cook up quickly and evenly in the pan.
Shrimps with the shells and tails will take longer to cook than those that have them removed. You want to cook shrimp for a few minutes on each side, until they have a pink color.
I love using the frozen tail off cooked shrimp from Trader Joes. Since they are cooked, I warm the shrimp for a few minutes on each side in my frying pan.
Any shrimp you buy will work for this delicious dinner recipe!
Make it a Meal!
I serve this Honey Garlic Shrimp Recipe over a bed of rice with a side of steamed veggies! You can use white or brown rice with this recipe.
Pictured here, I will serve this dish up with steamed edamame which is another asian favorite at my house! We steam them in the microwave and serve with salt!
Other things that would be delicious with honey shrimp recipes would be egg rolls, wontons, or even potstickers!
