Cooking Chicken Burrito Bowls with the Instant Pot
I love using my Instant Pot to cook up dinner because it makes every recipe a one pot recipe! You can cook a variety of different recipes in your Instant Pot!
One of my favorite features of the Instant Pot is the sauté function. This function is great because you can brown your meat, cook your onions, and sauté any recipe right in the pot!
Another feature of the pot is that it electronically pressurizes it! It’s totally safe and easy to use! We love these Instant Pot Chicken Burrito Bowls.

Chicken Burrito Bowls
I made this recipe using boneless, skinless chicken breasts! I diced them into bite sized pieces to help with even cooking and browning.
You could also use chicken thighs for this recipe! If you didn’t want to make it with chicken, another great option would be ground beef!
Top these bowls with cheddar cheese, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, or tortilla chips! Whatever you like on top of your burrito bowl will be delicious!

Don’t we all love a good old 30 minute meal? I know I do! This recipe cooks for 10 minutes on sauté and 10 minutes on high pressure in the Instant Pot! In 30 minutes or less, you can have this deliciously easy Instant Pot Chicken Burrito Bowls dinner ready on your table!

Instant Pot Chicken Burrito Bowls
Easy, 30 minute Instant Pot Chicken Burrito Bowls! The whole family will love it!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 yellow or white onion, diced
- 1 cup salsa of choice
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can of corn OR 1 cup frozen corn
- 1 cup of uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Toppings
- shredded cheddar cheese
- sour cream
- avocado
- tortilla chips
Instructions
- Turn the Instant Pot to Sauté.
- Add olive oil and chicken breasts and onion to the pot. Season chicken with taco seasoning, cumin, and garlic powder. Cook until chicken is browned.
- Next add in the black beans, salsa, and corn. Mix to combine.
- Sprinkle the rice on top of the chicken then pour in the chicken broth.
- Lock Instant Pot lid in place and set to Manual, High Pressure for 10 minutes.
- Use Quick Pressure Release, and once pressure pin drops, open Instant Pot and fluff Chicken Burrito Bowl with a fork.
- Garnish with avocado, cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips.
