This Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce will make you never want to buy the canned stuff ever again! It’s so easy, and only requires a handful of ingredients!
When it comes to cooking for the holidays, we want easy!
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 large orange, juiced and zested
- 1/2 cup water
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- A pinch of salt
VARIATIONS
The cool thing about this recipe is that you can customize it to your liking! Add some additional fun flavors for a holiday twist!
- Cranberry/apple – add a diced sweet apple, along with the rest of the ingredients. (Fuji and Honeycrisp are great)
- Cranberry/cinnamon – add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, along with the rest of the ingredients.
- Spiced – to the existing recipe, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of allspice, 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves, and 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days. For the best taste, eat within 4 days.

Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 large orange, juiced and zested
- 1/2 cup water
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- A pinch salt
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to the instant pot.
- Lock the lid, set the valve to sealing, and manually set the timer to 1 minute. The pot will display "ON" when it comes to pressure, then count down from 1.
- Quickly release the pressure by turning the valve from sealing to venting. Stir and break the cranberries with a spoon. Taste and add more sugar if desired.
- Serve cold or warm with your favorite dish
