Dressing for this Italian Tortellini Pasta Salad
For this salad, you can do a homemade Italian dressing, which I include the recipe below, or use a bottle of Italian dressing. Whatever you prefer, or have time for will do!

What Tortellini To Use?
You can use any cheese tortellini you want in this recipe! As long as you cook the tortellini fully and allow it to cool completely, it will work in this salad!
My favorite tortellini can be found at Smith’s in the freezer section!

Italian Tortellini Pasta Salad
This Italian Tortellini Pasta Salad is one of my summer favs! Made with cheese stuffed tortellini, salami, chopped veggies, cheese, and a delicious homemade Italian dressing, you can't go wrong!
Ingredients
- 1 (19-ounce) package frozen three cheese tortellini
- 2 slices deli salami, sliced small
- 1 cup broccoli, chopped small
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni, cut in half
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 2 slices deli provolone cheese, cubed
- 1 cup black olives
- Dressing
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package directions. Do not drain. Drizzle with olive oil or a little dressing while it's still hot to add flavor.
- In a large bowl, combine tortellini, salami, broccoli, bell peppers, pepperoni, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and olives.
- To Make Dressing: Whisk together all vinaigrette ingredients in a small bowl.
- Pour over tortellini mixture and toss until evenly coated. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
*Don't overcook tortellini! You don't want the noodles to become soggy and too soft.
*If you want to do this semi homemade, you can use a bottle of Olive Garden or Zesty Italian Dressing instead of doing the homemade dressing!
