When you’re in Mexico, you would think you could buy salsa and guacamole anywhere, right? It’s like the staple food of their culture? Well, that is not the case. Salsa and guac is such a culture food, that you cannot buy it in the store. When asking a sales lady in Sam’s Club down here where the salsa is, she kindly lead you to the ingredients. Needless to say, the Mexicans know what’s best and what’s best is to make your own salsa and guacamole.
Salsa
3-4 tomatoes
1/2 onion
1 jalapeño pepper
2 squeezed limes
1 bunch cilantro
Salt
Pepper
Optional fruits: pineapple, mango, peach
Blend all together in blender and serve
Guacamole
I like to take 1/2 c of the salsa I prepared and add 2-3 ripe avocado’s to it in a blender. Delicious!
