With the New Year and everyone’s motivation to get in shape, I thought it would be nice to give everyone a nice sweet treat option that won’t complete break the diet!
A Healthy, High Protein Treat
Typically, you should use dark chocolate to keep the sugar content down, but I can’t swallow dark chocolate. I think it is the satan of the chocolates. I have to splurge a little when I make this recipe by adding milk chocolate chips.

Made with Whole, Natural Ingredients
This recipe is made with whole ingredients that add nutritional value to the snack rather than just empty calories.
I made these with honey today, but you can also make it with Agave which is also a natural sweetener. The coconut flakes are also adding a natural sweet flavor while adding texture.

PB Protein Energy Bites Recipe
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- One serving (33g) vanilla protein powder
- 1 1/2 cups Kodiak Cakes Buttermilk Mix
- Dash of sea salt
- 30 grams chocolate chips
- To a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, honey and vanilla together in a bowl.
- Add the protein powder, Kodiak Cakes Mix, sea salt, and chocolate chips and mix well.
- Using a cookie scoop, form into balls and lay them out onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Store in the fridge or freezer.
