Tis the Season!
October is here! And now the wedding has come and gone, it’s time to start celebrating the upcoming holidays and seasons! I love October and pumpkin flavors. It is tradition to make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies every fall. This recipe is not my own, but it is one of my favorites! It is from the Sisters Cafe and most recipes they have come highly recommended by me!
Try this recipe out this fall for a fun family activity, as well as a delicious treat! Happy eating!

- 3 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups pumpkin ( approx. I use a 15oz can pumpkin puree)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- 5 cups cake flour (all purpose works too!)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place butter and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer (or use a bowl and hand mixer) beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Next add eggs, pumpkin, vanilla and spices.
- Beat on medium until combined.
- Next add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix just until flour disappears and all ingredients are combined.
- Do not overmix.
- Using a large cookie scoop, place dough onto parchment lined baking sheets or lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes (depending on your oven). Let cool completely on baking sheet before transferring to plate.
