With the holidays right around the corner, everyone is looking for yummy recipes to make and bring to their family/friend parties! That is what makes the holidays so fun, is sharing yummy recipes! This time of year is known for pies. I feel like pies are the popular dessert option for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Well you know what? I think it is time for a change! Say yes to cheesecake this year! Read more to learn my favorite way to cook cheesecakes at home using The Cheesecake Factory mixes and the reasons why I am saying no to pie!
If you are a pie fan, there is nothing wrong with that! Don’t get me wrong, I make pie all the time because other people love it! I am just not a fan! But Cheesecake, man that stuff is my all time favorite! If I were to go to The Cheesecake Factory, I would order myself a White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle or Salted Caramel cheesecake! Now, I can make these delicious cheesecakes at my home, with their new line of At Home Cheesecake Mixes!
If you have never been to The Cheesecake Factory, let me give you a little background information! The Cheesecake Factory is America’s favorite restaurant known for its extensive menu of more than 250 items and more than 30 legendary cheesecakes. With their new release of At Home Mixes, you can bring the delicious taste of their cheesecakes home! You can customize each mix and design your favorite cheesecake flavor! My personal favorite is the salted caramel mix, but I love salted caramel anything. You can get as creative as you want when decorating these cheesecakes. The BEST PART? If you don’t say anything, NOBODY is going to know this was made out of a box! Your secret is safe with me!
This holiday season, thanks to The Cheesecake Factory, I will be bringing cheesecake to all of our parties! Find out where you can buy your own cheesecake mixes through the locator at this link https://ooh.li/515533e ! I am testing out all three flavors and bringing them to you! The first one I tried is my personal favorite, the Salted Caramel! I baked each cheesecake in a Springform Pan, that you can purchase on Amazon!
Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Peanut Explosion
For the Salted Caramel flavor, I chose to bake it in the oven, following the directions exactly on the box. I followed the *chef’s tips in the instructions for a denser, creamier cheesecake. I love how it turned out! The flavor is great, the texture is smooth, and it was super easy to make! I chose to play with the toppings a little bit and make my own dream cheesecake flavor! I made a Salted Caramel, Chocolate, Peanut Explosion. I topped mine with salted caramel and chocolate drizzle, and chopped peanuts! Of course, an obligatory dobble of whip cream! I finished off each piece with it’s own French Macaroon! SO YUMMY!!
You will need:
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 box salted caramel cheesecake mix
2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons half and half
3 tablespoons sour cream
3 eggs
For the toppings:
chopped peanuts
salted caramel sauce
melted chocolate, for drizzle
whipping cream
caramel & vanilla flavored french macaroons
Prepare cheesecake as directed on the box.
When cheesecake finishes, let cool in the fridge for 4 hours-overnight. Decorate how you desire by drizzling chocolate and salted caramel syrups over the top. Sprinkle on the chopped peanuts and finish with whip cream and a french macaroon. Enjoy!
