Edible Arrangement
This Valentines Candy Flower Bouquet becomes the cutest holiday edible arrangement! Yes, this whole vase, besides the skewers, can be eaten! I chose to make my flowers out of a wide variety of cookies and candy, but you can make yours however you choose!
For me, I’d rather get food than flowers any day! Now, you can have both! This would make the cutest gift for your Valentine, your teacher, or your neighbor! Or, it could just be a fun edible craft for your kids to play with! The possibilities of this edible arrangement are really endless!
What are the flowers made of?
The flowers in this Valentine Candy Flower Bouquet are made from a variety of candies and cookies! I went to my local grocery store and stocked up on all cute seasonal candy shapes I could find!
For the Candy, I ended up with juju cherry heats, cinnamon hearts, cinnamon lips, grapefruit gummy balls, cinnamon cubes, and Hershey kisses!
For the Cookies, I used the fudge strip cookies, dark and light oreos, bud’s best flower cookies, and pepperidge farms sugar cookies!
You can use whatever you can find locally! That’s the fun about this recipe is that it is totally customizable!
How Do You Make the Flowers?
Making the flowers for this Candy Flower Bouquet is really simple! All you need is some stems made from either straws, or popsicle sticks, or skewers, candy, and cookies!
I used the square cinnamon cubes as the base of the flower and stuck that on first.
Then, I stuck the cookie on the skewer on top of the cinnamon square.
Finally, I placed a shaped candy on the very top! Either a kiss, a heart, or lips!
I placed all the flowers I made in a glass vase full of conversation hearts and made a cute edible arrangement! You could make single flowers and wrap them in cellophane for gifts! Or you could make smaller bouquets of 3-6 flowers and wrap those up as well! I’d love to see what you come up with!
