This marshmallow fruit salad is a dessert salad that takes less than 10 minutes to prepare! I’ve also heard this salad referred to as a fruit cocktail salad or a fruit fluff salad! Whatever you call it, I promise you will love it. The mini marshmallows make this the perfect salad for a holiday side dish. It only requires 3 ingredients too! Plus, bananas if you want to add those on top! I’ll leave that up to you! Let’s make it!
What is a Marshmallow Fruit Salad?
Here in Utah, we like to serve salad as dessert! I see no problem with that.
Can whipped cream, marshmallows, and canned fruit really be considered a salad? Sure, why not?
I don’t make the rules!
These types of dessert salads are perfect during Holiday gatherings. You would typically find a salad like this in Utah at a church potluck, baby shower, or mission farewell.
