Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders

January 14, 2018 by Alex Daynes

If you know me, you know that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be breakfast food. When I was thinking of a recipe that everyone would love, I thought of breakfast sandwiches. What else do people love? Little Sliders! I thought, I should totally combine the two! And I am so glad that I did, because YUM! Little bun, BIG WIN! These are the perfect hit to cook up for the next big game day! These are sure to please your hungry crowd!! I cooked up these Sausage Breakfast Sliders on the Pepperidge Farm Sliders Buns. These are perfect because they are versatile for any recipe; always baked the right way with special touches and the widest variety of yummy flavors! Make it with me!

I love entertaining a crowd, and it is something I do quite often! I am always trying to think of yummy recipes that are unique, delicious, and fun! These Sausage Breakfast Sliders are such a fun finger food! They are different from what you typically get, but they are always such a big hit! I make mine with a yummy garlic butter garlic butter spread from Costco or Amazon that is so yummy! It really levels up these breakfast sliders! Sliders are the perfect game day snack! This is my new Go-To-Game-Day recipe! They are so quick and easy too!

You can also use this recipe as a Meal Prep idea! Prep these sliders all together, then wrap them up individually in some paper, and store in the freezer until ready to use! 2 minutes in the microwave, and you have a delicious homemade breakfast sandwich ready to go! It is the best! You can also build these sliders to your liking! Sausage, ham, bacon, which do you prefer? Pepper-jack, cheddar, swiss? The options are endless!

Sausage Breakfast Sliders
Yields 12

1 package Pepperidge Farm Slider Buns
12 sausage patty’s
12 slices of cheese or three cups shredded cheddar cheese
12 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
4 tablespoons Garlic Butter Spread
Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, and salt and pepper. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the eggs are no longer runny.

In another 9×13 pan, place the bottom of the Pepperidge Farm Slider Buns. Butter each bun with the garlic butter spread. Place 1 sausage patty on each bun. (if frozen and going to eat immediately, microwave the sausage patty’s for 2 minutes to defrost them before this step. If meal prepping, the frozen sausage is fine). Place cheese on each slider.

When eggs are finished, cut into 12 pieces, round or square and layer it onto the sliders. Finish the top buns with a little more garlic butter spread, and place the pan back in the oven for 5 minutes or until warmed through and melty. Serve them up and enjoy!

(If meal prepping, skip the final step. Wrap each slider up in paper and a zip lock baggy and store in freezer until later use).

Your clothes don’t fit like they used to. The weights are lighter than normal. The workouts don’t feel like they did before.

You have to work to find yourself again.
